The Beer That Made Milt Famy Walk Us

In Milwaukee for a couple of days. Big series between the Cubs and Brewers, reckon it will be on TV, doubt there will be tickets available.

Weighed in at 253.6 yesterday morning. (31.4 , 11%)

Breakfast: Sausage patties, low carb smoothie.
Lunch: Chef Salad, Fresca
Supper: Wings, Coors light

Temptation for burgers, fries, pizza, etc. usually hits me on the road.
Have not had a fry in over 3 months.

Have a good week and good weighing.

Monday Late Lunch: KFC, no skin, no breading. A little coleslaw. Couple of beers.

Monday supper: Just got in from the airport, had a Diet Dew, looking for a small snack before bed.

Unofficial weigh in upon reunion with scale <260
Official Tuesday morning weigh-in will be posted on... Tuesday.
Atlanta is hoping to one day land an NBA franchise.
Our new WNBA team set a record for most losses (14)to begin a season/existence/career of a head coach.

Consecutive consonants, with a weight loss theme:

In Slovak, ODSTVRTVRSTVIT has 11 consecutive consonants. It means "to remove a quarter of a layer."

The Georgian word GVBRDGVNIT ("you tear us into pieces") has 8 consecutive consonants.

Need one of Daniel's Magic Scales

Weighed in this morning at 258.8, have only dropped my "pizza weight" and a little.

Figured my work and travel this week would have stressed 5-6 lbs off at least.

Spent a good part of the week fighting fires on production of the icing for McDonald's Cinnamon Melts. Trying to figure out if we have an ingredient problem, operator error, too picky of a customer, or a "too damn hot in the plants" problem.

Finished my week with a 13-hour Wednesday (Smoothie and Hebrew National breakfast, cold cuts for lunch, and Italian sausage w/ pasta sauce for supper). Continued working in my dreams, woke up at 3, chose a couple more hours of sleep over just going into work.

Thursday- Went in a 7, meetings all day, finished up with a 2 hour 42 minute conference call, made reservations to fly to Utah the next morning, left work at 8:45, home by 9:30. Don't remember breakfast, cold cuts and cold veggies with ranch dip for lunch, supper - passed on pizza, had salad topped with egg salad instead.

Next 4 phrases spoken to Kim; I'm home. Goodnight. Good morning. Goodbye..... (all with "I love you" of course)

Friday - Up at 3:30, flight at 6:30, stopped in Denver (had the inside of a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit), then on to Salt Lake. Made it to the plant by 11, lunch at noon with our quality manager and the customer (Cobb salad and coffeeeee). Went back to the plant, on the line until 9:30, off to Chili's for a 1/2 rack of ribs, small sirloin, salad, and a tall Coors light. Plane delayed from 11:45 PM to 12:15 AM. Got upgraded to first class, asleep before we took off, woke up in our final descent. Talked to Tucker plant (running same product) while driving home from airport, got another 3hrs of shut-eye. Breakfast - pass. Lunch - 2 double cheeseburgers, bottom bun only, Diet Coke. Afternoon snack - 3 Miller Lites at the pool. Snack while grilling - Another beer, mixed nuts til Kim took them away from me. Supper - T-bone, salad. Watched about the first 3 laps of the NASCAR race and was out until 7 this morning.

Impressed with everyone else's progress. Daniel - just toss the old scale or are you wanting to see if it says 299 when you are down to 230? When is Holly going to go "official"?

25 steps forward and 2 steps back...

Kim and I went downtown and met Kristy last night for supper....
Other sins of the weekend:
Payday bar, handful of Starburst jelly beans, a couple bottles of Guinness, hot dogs on buns, Lay's potato chips. (Not all in the same sitting)
Back on it today. Working with Kim's brother Pat on extending the bottom deck a few feet on my "vacation day". Will count as my exercise for the day.

Wade Weigh-In #1

Good Braves game last night. Got to see a win, a kid hit an RBI triple in his first major league at bat, and some impressive fireworks. Salad, bunless burger, and Coke Zero for supper before the game. Peanuts and a couple of Miller Lites at the game.
Official July 5th weight ............................259.8

25.2 lbs 8.84%

Last hole on my fat belts. Almost fit in my 38W pants, no longer stretching the limits of my 40" expandable waistband pants.

Watching chocolate being made on 'How Its Made'.

Just watched Hot Dogs on 'How Its Made", suggest that you do not....

Mandy, Chip, and Trudy might not like having rats as cousins.....

Milestones

If you really feel like blowing the contest off...

Recent significant milestones in Steve's little world.

  • Last Saturday was the 20th Anniversary of my start date with Brill.
  • This Saturday will mark the 1 year anniversary of the last time I smoked a cigaratte/cigar.
  • Friday is Mandy's 10th Birthday
  • Friday will hopefully be the day the scale reads 260.0 for the second consecutive day giving me a loss of 25lbs (8.77%) in Round 1
  • Saturday will be the day that I treat my self to one or more of the items that I have dearly missed in the last 7 weeks (Pizza, pasta, french fries, doritos, sweet potatoes, sausage/egg/cheese biscuit, Filet-O-Fish, skittles, peanut M&Ms) or maybe not....

2 days on the road

Different foods call my name when travelling. Sort of like camping. I ignored most of the calls. We,ll see tonight. 2 days without a scale.... 261 after yardwork Saturday, 263 after supper...
